Jim Cichy serves as Vice President, Fraud Management for PULSE, a Discover Financial Services company and operator of the PULSE electronic funds transfer network, head-quartered in Houston, Texas. Cichy joined PULSE in 2008 and is responsible for PULSE fraud detection and prevention services.

Over the course of his 32-year financial services career, Cichy has become an internationally recognized expert on credit and debit card fraud. His fraud mitigation strategies have earned much recognition, including an award for beset-in-class fraud detection system from Royal Bank of Canada, The Canadian Information Productivity Award and the CIO magazine award for large enterprise fraud detection systems, as well as service on the Visa International Risk Committee.
